Featuring DJ Deko-Ze

A leading force in the Canadian scene, Deko-ze has been cited as one of Toronto's best by Eye Weekly, Fab, Now Magazine, Xtra, and the Toronto DJ Festival. For years he has been labeled "Canada's hardest working DJ", frequently playing gigs in nearly every Canadian centre - big and small!

Accompanied by an unforgettable drag performance by Mark Payne from the film Get Happy.

Mark Payne

Behind the scenes or on camera, Mark Payne is an industry expert, world-class performer, as well as a renowned leader in the field of beauty and now filmmaker. Mark's most unusual childhood is what has inspired him in all he does. At the age of twelve Mark began making home movies of himself performing as his favorite singers. Acting as his own agent, Mark began his illustrious career at the age of thirteen. As a performer he worked with such luminaries as Bob Hope and Milton Berle. Mark's international appeal led to headlining dates in Europe, Australia and the Far East. This experience gave Mark the edge needed to work both behind and in front of the camera.

Performances by Gentleman Reg, Katie Stelmanis and Kids On TV

Gentleman Reg has been performing in Canada since the turn of the millennium, garnering attention for his two acclaimed full-lengths, 2002's Make Me Pretty and 2004's Darby & Joan. With a voice from the heavens and an unforgettable look, Gentleman Reg is set to make his U.S. debut in early 2009 on Arts & Crafts with the release of Jet Black. Gentleman Reg has made fans of some of Canada's best talent, performing and touring with such acts as Tegan and Sara, Broken Social Scene, Stars and The Hidden Cameras.

Katie Stelmanis has been making music her whole life, first as a student of piano and voice, then as a guitar player in Toronto's riot grrl trio galaxy, and now as an art-pop composer that falls somewhere in between. She released a record called "Join US" with the Blocks Recording Club in January 2008, and in October a split 7" with Fucked Up on Matador Records. Join Us reached #2 on Canada's college radio charts within a week of its release, and yielded comparisons to Kate Bush, Klaus Nomi, and Spiritualized.

KIDS ON TV was formed in the spring of 2003 in Toronto, Canada. Their music explores the worlds of punk, no-rave, electro, booty house acid, soul, and experimental rock. Their work references many elements of queer history and the artists who inspire them. KIDS ON TV transform environments with projections of their film and video work.
