Dykes on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown
This multi-disciplinary event—a sensorial onslaught for lezbos-on-the-fringe and lezbros alike—features experimental film and video; the cataclysmic sounds of dyke metal band, Heavy Filth; and a new piece by the maniacal performance duo Jessica Lang Lang (Lex Vaughn) and Yolanda Bobbitt. The screening includes new and archival works that push buttons and test limits: from hetero-lesbian porn to 1980s teen angst, these queers are on the brink of losing—or have already lost—all sense of control.
