Inside Out, presenter of the Toronto Lesbian and Gay Film and Video
Festival, invites you to join us for the 15th annual celebration of
Canada’s pre-eminent exhibition of queer film and video from around
the world.
Inside Out hosts one of the largest queer film festivals
internationally, highlighting the diversity of gay, lesbian, bisexual,
transsexual and transgendered film and video making in documentary,
shorts, features, and installation.
Highlights in 2004 were our Queer India focus which featured the
opening night gala screening Touch of Pink. We also had three
programs of shorts in which new work was created just for the
Festival by local emerging and established film and video makers;
The TAIS Queer Cartoon Show, Video Virgins, and The Queer Youth
Digital Video Project.

Our 2004 Festival screened 300 works from 30 countries, with
sold-out screenings daily. We had guests attend the festival from
all over Canada, France, Germany, USA, Great Britain and more.
Industry came out to the Festival in greater numbers with Showcase,
CBC Zed Television, the Independent Film Channel, Showcase,
Pridevision TV, Mongrel Media, CFMDC, V tape, Vagrant Films and
other distributors all sending buyers and distribution representatives
to look at our selections. Every year international and Canadian films
and videos are secured for theatrical and broadcast distribution.
